Mary E. Frandsen<\/strong> (University of Notre Dame) has recently published two articles, \u201cMatters of Taste: the Lutheran Market for Sacred Music in the Seventeenth Century,\u201d in Early Music History<\/em> 39 (2020): 149\u2013218, and \u201cThe Hymn Repertory of the Dresden Court Chapel in the Later Seventeenth Century,\u201d in Jahrbuch f\u00fcr Liturgik und Hymnologie<\/em> 59 (2020): 136\u201355. She also contributed the essay \u201cSch\u00fctz am Dresdener Hof, 1645\u20131672\u201d to the Sch\u00fctz-Handbuch<\/em> forthcoming from Metzler Verlag in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In November 2020, the Journal of Seventeenth-Century Music<\/em> (JSCM) released a special issue titled \u201cThirty Years of War: Henrich Sch\u00fctz and Music in Protestant Germany.\u201d Co-edited by JSCM editor Lois Rosow and guest editor Victor Coelho, the eight essays stemmed from a conference of the same name sponsored by Boston University\u2019s Center for Early Music Studies, held on May 11\u201312, 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
